What is Pelican Paste?

Pelican Paste is a new premium hardening wax for your knife handles. It is also great protection for your Damascus or mono-steel blades. Do you have hammers and tools you want to take care of? Or Leather products that you cant afford to have dry out? Pelican Paste is great for that too.

Why Pelican Paste?

There is no doubt that there are some great products out there when it comes to waxes. But the problem I had was giving my customers a way to continue to care for their custom high-carbon blades. I wanted to be sure the knives they bought from me weren't a burden when it came to taking care of them. I didn't want to continue to tell them to go buy a certain wax. I wanted to provide them with the wax myself along with the care instructions. 

That is where the idea to make my own wax came. I couldn't find anyone that sold small tins of quality wax that I could feel comfortable sending to my customers. And it was important to me that it was affordable. That way I could include the price of the wax in the knife purchase and not take a big hit on my margins.

So why Pelican Paste? Because it is a high-quality wax that will not only allow you to take care of your own knives and tools, but you can confidently send a tin to your customers so they can continue to take care of their investment. Pelican Paste is a great value add for your customers

What sizes will you sell?

Initially, I will be selling 0.5 oz tins in quantities of 1, 6 or 18. That might change, but for now, that is the plan. I have found that a 0.5 oz tin is the perfect size to send to a customer. 

I will also be introducing 2 oz tins and bigger blocks as well (not sure of the block sizes yet). Block will make it easy to apply Pelican Paste to steel and other tools such as your blacksmithing projects.
